We had such a wonderful experience with Golden Lane Kennels when looking to add another member to our family! When we first inquired, we had just recently lost our last family dog and we’re not quite ready. Bill was very sympathetic and understanding and walked us through the process and told us about an upcoming litter that they had. We knew our pup was in there! Bill kept in touch and sent us pictures regularly. Once we were able to go and meet the puppies and pick ours out, Bill answered all of our questions and let us visit and stay until we had made the right decision.
He was very knowledgeable and helpful, and explained everything throughly. He also included our children in the process as much as possible too, which we really appreciated! Communication was excellent and even 9 months later, Bill will answer any questions we have that come up. We were thoroughly impressed by the whole process and would highly recommend Golden Lane Kennels to anyone looking for a Golden Retriever. Every check up Astro has been to our vet has commented on what a healthy guy he is, and he has brought so much joy and happiness into our family!

This last summer (2023) after doing a long research, We found Goldenlane Kennel’s through social media. We made a decision to get our first pup. I messaged Billy and he was very responsive. We felt very confident to put down the deposit. We are glad that we were able to meet someone who’s knowledgeable and helpful as this was our first puppy.

The process of purchasing our dog Winston from Golden Lane Kennels was a very smooth and positive experience. Billy was very easy to communicate with and helped to ensure that bringing Winston home was a stress-free adventure! We loved the added touch of receiving a blanket that would remind of his Mom throughout the transition period. Winston has made the perfect addition to our family, and we can’t imagine our lives without him. After losing our senior golden retriever in December of 2022, our family felt empty. We knew we were meant for another golden and after a long period of researching, we landed with Golden Lane Kennels. We first met Chief at 5 weeks old and instantly fell in love. Four weeks later, we brought him home. He was well adjusted, healthy and had developed such a joyful demeanour. Now at 9 months old, Chief is continually growing, very intelligent, which has made training extremely successful, and loves to be surrounded by everyone. He is very playful and sociable (with both people and other dogs) and he is cautiously gentle around young children. Anyone looking for a golden retriever is encouraged to work with Billy and his wife, Emma, at Golden Lane Kennels. They take extreme care of their dogs and are wonderful to communicate and work with. We still keep in touch today with them for Chief updates and any questions we have along the way. They are our first recommendation for anyone considering bringing home a golden babe.

The one thing I’ve wanted my entire life was a puppy, 30 years later Thanksgiving weekend of 2023 that dream became a reality. Goldenlane Kennels, Billy and his wife made me the happiest person alive. Not only was I bringing home my dream dog but they made the process of getting her painless. The home environment they provide for the puppies is absolutely amazing! Being able to meet my pup before bringing her home was also a blessing. They are friendly and professional; providing a safe and home like environment to the pups before they find their forever home. After picking Riley, Billy made sure that the first stages of the pups life were great filled with love, care and safe environment.
Before taking a pup home Billy provided a little take away bag which included a blanket with the mothers scent, poo bag and holder, some food of the same kibble they were eating, being partnered with Trupanion insurance they were able to provide one month free of pet insurance. After all that generosity they even made sure that all pups got the same treatment of going home vet checked with a clear bill of health, dewormed, first set of vaccinations, and microchipped. I cannot thank Billy enough and can only speak amazing things about Goldenlane Kennels. I love my girl Riley and they made every moment of this experience enjoyable and informative! Her training as a therapy dog is going very well and has been since she was a puppy. Going to visit those in the hospital and programs with adults with mental and physical disabilities. Riley is sweet,lovable and welcomes all individuals from all walks of life!
